Veterinary Assistant

Assist doctor and other hospital staff with patient care and cleaning of patients and facilities. Duties include assisting with office exams, surgery, and other patient treatments. A portion of patient care will be to run diagnostic tests such as fecal samples for the doctor to interpret.

Veterinary Assistants are also responsible for helping to maintain the cleanliness of the hospital. This includes but is not limited to cleaning kennels, treatment areas, and exam rooms. On occasion, veterinary assistants will also be required to field phone calls and provide client education.

Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
